ArTech & Empple - How to make Employer Branding (EB) effective during a crisis?
Crises within companies, and in society at large, have damaged the reputation of employer branding experts in Serbia. This is partly unfair, but also partly justified. It's true that experts in people-focused positions often have their hands tied by business regulations and decisions outside their jurisdiction. However, certain examples from the professional community indicate that the situation isn't entirely black and white, and that it's possible to make decisions at the local level that will help people – both within companies and in the community – to weather the crisis more easily. At Space Station Hub in Niš, Artech and Empple organized their first joint meetup, where we aimed to gather local experts, as well as those who are just entering the EB field, to help them break out of the stalemate they found themselves in. We organized a fishbowl discussion, during which all participants could share their opinions, experiences, and learn more about ways to make micro-decisions that can have a macro impact during a crisis. With this goal in mind, we also brought in people with experience and concrete practical examples, who shared their knowledge and discussed the decisions they made. The primary aim of the event was to ensure that everyone left with tangible takeaways they could immediately implement within their respective companies.
