Crises within companies and in society at large have damaged the reputation of employer branding experts in Serbia. This is partly unfair, but also partly justified. It's true that experts in people-focused positions often find their hands tied by business regulations and decisions outside their jurisdiction.

However, certain examples from the professional community indicate that the situation isn't entirely black and white, and that it's possible to make decisions at the local level that will help people-both within companies and in the community-to weather the crisis more easily.

At Space Station Hub in Niš, Artech and Empple organized their first meetup, aiming to gather local experts, as well as those who are just entering the employer branding (EB) field, to help them break out of the stalemate they found themselves in. The format was a fishbowl discussion, during which all participants could share their opinions, experiences, and learn more about ways to make micro-decisions that can have a macro impact during a crisis.

With this goal in mind, people with experience and concrete practical examples were brought in, sharing their knowledge and discussing the decisions they made. The primary aim of the event was to ensure that everyone left with tangible takeaways they could immediately implement within their respective companies.
